When the Mummies came home from lunch today, they both went in to the bedroom to have a nap. I joined them of course – doing my parrot thing and being on M Kaz’s shoulder. Did you know that parrots can nip? M Kaz does now. It was her fault. She hadn’t turned her watch on to ‘Do Not Disturb’ – or her phone. It was pretty annoying. I don’t know how she expected any of us to sleep through it.
Yes, that did mean that M Sooz was well enough to go out today – it’s the first time since Saturday. She is bearing up okay. The medical appointments keep coming though. Who knew it was a year since she saw the cardiologist; and they’ve been in contact about a routine follow-up.
She’s not the only one who has a medical appointment coming up. It’s time for my annual visit to the V-E-T for my vaccination, I could refuse to go but the Mummies will just trick me into going, or sneak up on me and force me into the cat cage. It usually takes both of them to do that. But the good news is that M Kaz has booked me in for a nail appointment as well. It’s time for that – even I know that. M Kaz does too and I know she is keen to have my nails done before it gets too warm for her to keep wearing long pants. They’ve really saved her this winter.
