We all had a big sleep-in this morning even M Kaz whose alarm did go off at just after 5 am and even though she got up as if she was going to get dressed, grab the camera gear and go – she but did not. That was a tiny bit difficult because I had already made myself comfortable in her spot. She graciously curled her legs around me as she got back into bed so I didn’t have to move.
I’m not used to her taking up room in her bed in the mornings. We have a system – she gets up and goes off and I take her spot. I’m not sure why she stayed around this morning – except that once she had her CP machine back on, she was asleep again within … well, it seemed like seconds but it was probably a couple of minutes. M Sooz was awake a bit longer. She often is especially as she is still having some pain. I know there were strong pain killers used last night.
Nothing really interesting has been afoot at Jannie this week. Aunty A did come to clean earlier this week, and the yard man almost came … but no. We haven’t seen anyone else. Although M Kaz did think she saw one of my friends darting off towards the back yard as she was going off to the water earlier this week. Startled was the word she used. She was glad she hasn’t made the change to shorts yet!
M Kaz is still watching “Midsomer Murders” although sometimes she just starts watching an episode and then jumps to the last 20 minutes or so. It’s just lucky that M Sooz and I like listening to the theme music. The good news is that there may be another series – actually M Kaz had started watching “Ann Droid” but stopped because she wanted to watch it with M Sooz and Aunty M. She has heard some really good reports about it.
I’ll probably be having a nap when they get around to watching it … because everyone knows how much I love my sleep.
M Kaz has been following me around again this week, taking photos of me sleeping. She managed to get a video of me waiting for her to finish mucking around at her desk on Wednesday morning – just before she kicked me out so I wouldn’t be “a bother” while she was doing one of her video calls. I don’t think it’s fair because I don’t make any noise – I’m quite good at being quiet when I kiss and cuddle M Kaz’s legs. She’s the one who makes the racket when I’m affectionate with her.
