Both those Mummies were up early this morning and M Sooz was busy drinking (water) almost as soon as her eyes were open. She was going off for a (yet another) medical appointment. She has certainly been in the wars lately – ever since they diagnosed her with – and let me get this right – carcinosarcoma – a particulary rare and aggressive nasty. She has had an exploratory procedure and biopsy, a surgery to remove the nasty and now she is lining up for some chemotherapy and radiation treatment to ‘mop up’ because it appears the nasty decided to start travelling around her system. Bad bad nasty! Anyway – enough about M Sooz – she is doing fine and she and M Kaz have their friends and families to support them.

And speaking of family, Aunty Wendy and Uncle Wayne are coming back to Jannie this weekend before Uncle Wayne packs up his caravan and moves on to his next BlazeAid camp – this one in Murgon. It’s not that far away and hopefully he will be able to move further north (for the warmth) as Winter approaches – and the price of diesel starts to come down. (No, there’s no need to go over why the price of diesel has almost doubled and is now over $3/litre.)

The newly-planted … can you call it ‘planted’ if it’s being grown hydroponically? – cat grass is coming along nicely. I keep reminding M Kaz to check that there’s still water in the container under it – because we know she didn’t keep it topped up last time and that’s why there’s ‘newly-planted’ Nigey grass. She seems to be doing okay with it and she’s aso giving it regular squishes of water from the squishy-bottle that Aunty M gave us. And thanks to Aunty M I have a new supply of my teeth cookies. I love me those teeth cookies.

I’ve never thought of M Sooz as a big poker machine player but it looks as though that might change based on the photo I found of her on M Kaz’s phone!
