OK, here we go. Cat grass: take two. M Kaz has been busily drowning cat seeds in a tray getting them ready to spread out on the cat grass container’s suspended platform so that they would start growing. It only takes 24 hours to prepare them – and there were sprouts/shoots when she went to do the changeover – so it’s only a matter of time now. The last seeds had produced some grass within a few days so I hope this lot is the same. Hmm … I feel like some right now.
Not a lot else has been happening here at Jannie. M Kaz isn’t tending to me enough so I’m finding I have to give her little teeth nips on her legs so she will take better notice of me. She’s a bit thick sometimes. Yes, I know she tries her best but she is sometimes woefully lacking. I suppose she does have other things in her mind – like getting her mate Tony down at the water in the mornings to make them another fruit cake. They finished the last one last night and I would swear there were tears – especially from M Kaz as she cut the last slice in half so M Sooz could have some too. Talk about sacrifices!
