Sunday (12 Apr 26)

That’s it. M Kaz can’t be in charge of the cat grass anymore. She had one job really – that was to keep it watered and while she was squishing it with the spray bottle that Aunty M had given them, that wasn’t enough. She really should have been checking the level of the water in the reservoir underneath the cat grass – because there wasn’t any! It may be that we’ve had a couple of very hot days here at Jannie and she didn’t think to check my grass but she really should have because by the time she noticed there was an issue the grass was wilting and I’m not sure that anything she can do will be able to bring it back.

Two days later. The cat grass is no more. I watched as M Kaz put the grass in the rubbish and the containers in the dishwasher. She days she’s going to start a new batch but not this morning as she and M Sooz were off to another medical appointment. It’s okay Mummies. You’ve got this!

We are going to need a bigger bed though. M Kaz is taking up way too much room in mine. And she knows I don’t like moving once I’ve settled – which is why she had to get out M Sooz’s side of the bed this morning. And don’t think it was easy for her – now that Uncle Wayne and Aunty Wendy have pulled the bed frames apart so the mattress overhang goes in the middle of the beds, there is a biggish dip which M Kaz kind of rolled into (but not easily out of). I may have laughed just a little. The leg cramp she started to get when she had managed to get out of the dip and was about to get out on Sooz’s side of the bed was a bit distressing for her but added to the show for me. (She knows I love her!)
