Can you believe it’s still raining? I think we’ve all had about enough of it now. At least Uncle Wayne and Aunty Wendy get to look at it over the Broadwater – and they do. Aunty Wendy is recovering from her hip hoperation (heh heh) but slowly – and with the help of some strong painkillers. She was mobile in the unit when M Kaz visited them this afternoon on the way to get some new shoes for Ravi. M Sooz didn’t want to go with her – but only because M Kaz wasn’t sure how long they’d have to wait for Ravi.

I haven’t moved back into my bedroom yet. One of the chairs at the dining room table is my place of choice at the moment – and, no, I don’t think I should move so one of the Mummies can sit there. It’s not the only one there is. It’d be a different story if Aunty W and Uncle W were here. I’d have to sit on the table! Or maybe not. I wonder if Uncle W is still having his anti-histamine tablets now he’s not sharing with me?

M Kaz has spent time time on the phone yesterday and today – lining up medical and follow-up appointments for M Sooz. She hasn’t had much success yet but she has left messages for the right folk.
I wonder if we will get any children coming around to the house looking for lollies for Halloween. People did go around last year but the Mummies weren’t home. Not like the time in Sydney (way BN) when they had no lollies and offered the children fruit. . They didn’t come back. M Kaz says they are getting into character early – she saw a skeleton and Wednesday Addams at Maccas while she was waiting for Ravi this afternoon.

The big question though is why Jannie is the only house in the street that has mushrooms on the verge – or are they toadstools? M Kaz isn’t doing anything with them in case leprechauns decide to pay us/them a visit. I do wonder about her sometimes.
