Those Mummies are very happy this afternoon. M Sooz saw her Medical Oncologist (The Prince of Poisons) this afternoon and her PET scan results came back clear. This means the treatment seems to have worked. She has a follow-up appointment with him in 6 months’ time (the week after she has the follow-up with her Radiation Oncologist aka the Baroness of Burns). There will be another PET scan before those appointments to see how she is going. M Sooz is now in the “recovery” phase – so that’s a great thing.
It is warmer at Jannie at the moment: 24 degrees C when M Kaz took herself down to the water at a quarter of five the other morning. It was strange to see her making coffee that early but as she said, the coffee shop is closed until 5.30 and that’s a long time to wait for her first coffee of the day!
Steve from next door came to trim the Ivy off the common fence yesterday. M Kaz and I kept an eye on him in case he chanced across one of the Cecils and got scared enough to jump off the ladder. He didn’t. I wish Chris the mower man would come – Aunty W and Uncle W are due here in a couple of days and it would be nice if Jannie looked kempt.
