Did I say something the other day about there being no photos of me? Since then M Kaz has been busy with her camera and her phone taking photo after photo after photo of me. Who can blame her – I’m that photogenic?
Aunty Wendy and Uncle Wayne were here for the weekend. It was great to have them here but they really have to think about me a little bit more – specifically where I’m going to sleep since Wayne is using “my” bedroom and Aunty Wendy keeps locking me out of the office where she is sleeping.
Aunty Wendy is still in a lot of pain because she hasn’t been able to have her hip operation. She does have her rolley thing though and when she’s on that, she can move very quickly – but we’d all feel better if the brakes were a bit more reliable! Uncle Wayne did have a go at fixing them when they were all at the Broadwater this morning and she just needs a bit of an incline to really test it to see if they are working.
Before M Sooz came out to have breakfast with them all this morning, M Kaz, Aunty Wendy and Uncle Wayne were doing what M Sooz and I call “tech talk”. They were trying to hook Aunty Wendy’s keyboard to her tablet by Bluetooth and once they had that working, it was time to get the monitors working. Jobs done it was time for breakfast. M Kaz would still be in the kitchen doing “a little bit more” on the toast had the others not noticed that she had no idea how to use the timer function on the toaster. Who knew you could set the toaster to do that? M Kaz knows now and she says it’s going to revolutionise her life. (I still think she does not get out enough!)
I know M Kaz was sad when they left because she re-watched the final episodes of “Ghosts” (UK) and of Resident Alien. There may have been tears • but you didn’t hear it from me.
