Happy Birthday M Sooz! Who knew you could get to be soooooo old? But it’s good to have birthdays so you can celebrate and so other people can celebrate with you too. And I know that’s what you were doing yesterday with Aunty M and M Kaz. I’m not sure where you were or what it was that you had to eat … seriously, I couldn’t tell what flavours there were on your breaths! I think I heard M Kaz talking about a ‘Macaron, smoked salmon, black garlic’ and a ‘Strawberry and champagne choux’ and some strange ‘flat, flaky’ scones – which all seemed a bit outside of the Mummies comfort zone – but I think that’s what Signature High Tea is all about. And it was a ‘high’ tea – they were on the 5th floor of the HOTA gallery at The Exhibitionist Bar. They all had a good time and they are still talking about their server, Chantelle, with her black hair and its different styling and her very very pale complexion. And they were talking about the view back over Surfers Paradise and the Gold Coast.
