Wednesday (27 May 26)

M Kaz, I love you so much some times that I could just burst – and if you could just give me another tin of the Applaws for dinner – no, I don’t really care what flavour it is – you know I love them all – I promise not to burst.  And I will love you even more – maybe enough not to kiss and cuddle your legs much this evening when I come to bed with you – or while we’re sitting watching television with M Sooz – Hard Quiz, The ABC News, QI. The usual.

The rain has started again and I don’t think either of the Mummies are going to let me out there to play in the puddles. Not that there are many puddles now that M Kaz had the lovely plumber Jarrod put the pit in to drain the pool that used to well up on the front path. I’m sure the little-toed friends must miss it. Have ever seen a little-toed breaststroke? Well, none of us will now.

M Sooz is still really tired and by the sound of it she is very sick of drinking lots and lots of water. She does need to, though, and she does it – a little grudgingly sometimes. M Kaz says she just chugged the last of the bottle of water up at Icon today as though it was the first drink she’d had today. It certainly wasn’t. It will be interesting to see how much she wants to drink this evening. Poor M Sooz. But the good news is that because she did drink that last bit of water thus afternoon, she was able to have her treatment so she doesn’t have to have one tacked on the end next week.

It’s not just raining now. The thunder and lightning have started too so I’m just off to under the bed until the storm passes. No, Mummies, there is not enough room under here for all of us. Good try though.
