Hello … hello …

Where am I?  Why haven’t I been posting my blog?  Well, you will have to ask the Mummies … because I am currently incarcerated at Aunty Rosemary’s and at this stage I don’t know when the Mummies are going to come to get me out.  So until I’m with the Mummies again, I won’t be able to do my blog … it’s just going to be the same old … same old – eating, drinking, sleeping … repeat … repeat … repeat.
See you soon 🙂  Not you Kaz … you are definitely in my bad books at the moment … and yes, I did mean it when I hissed at you when you dropped me at Aunty Rosemary’s the other day! Get used to that because once I’m back home there’s going to be a bit more of it … and turned backs!  But at least I have my car seat with me!

Hmmm …

Well, as they say, the cat’s out of the bag … I now know who’s going off to Aunty Rosemary this week … and it’s not either of the Mummies … or, to be exact, it will be one of the Mummies, but that’s just to drop me off.  It looks like I’m off on holiday.  I’m trying to be excited about it but you know I would rather stay at home with them … and with my convertible.

Is it a lounge? Is it a convertible? It is sooo comfortable!

It was good having Uncle Wayne to stay – he’s the only one I don’t mind sharing my room with.  We had the same arrangement this time as we had the last time he was here – I get the room during the day, and he gets it at night … and the only other thing is that I’m not allowed on his pillow – he brings his own with him you know.  Or so I’ve heard … I’m not even allowed to look at it really – in case I get cat allergies on it.

Hard at it … re-arranging the tinsel.

Christmas is not far away and while Kaz and Sooz have done an okay job around the place with the decorations, I have been busy doing my bit to help.  I’m concentrating on the tinsel around the place at the moment – particularly the bits on the sideboard – they could have done a better job there.

And what an opportunity they’ve missed with the flashing lighty things out the front.  If Kaz had been thinking about it – and a lot more artistic than she seems to be – she could have fashioned the lights the shape of … well, it could have been anything really, but if Kaz had thought about it, I know she would have wanted a dinosaur!  Who wouldn’t? Or … better still … a giant picture of … me .. in flashing lights … wouldn’t that be a sight to behold!?!

Blue … does that dog’s feet ever touch the ground?

The Mummies went off to breakfast yesterday – and they came back talking about Blue … who, yes, I admit is a bit cute … but that doesn’t mean everyone has to hold him on their laps all the way through breakfast. I wouldn’t allow it if it was/were me (I really do need to find out where they’ve hidden my grammar manual!).

Still loving this box.
No … it’s not a naughty corner … it’s me on the lookout for Cecils or other visitors in the back yard.

Yippee … and Hurrah!

He’s coming … he’s coming.  Aunty Wayne is coming back … oops, make that Uncle Wayne … but he is nice enough that he could be an Aunty!  He’s been near, he’s been far, he’s wrestled Polar Bears (at the Bundaberg Rum Distillery), he’s been back to Toowoomba, and now he’s coming here … to see me … and my convertible!

I have been spending a lot of time in my convertible.  I love it … love it … love it!  And I love Mummy Sooz for getting it for me.  I’ve heard the story now … Kaz wanted to hang out for the Red Barn for Nigey, but she hasn’t been able to find it yet … so rather than have me have nothing, Sooz insisted on buying me the convertible.  Have I said how much I love it?

Sooz and Kaz went over to visit Mimi the other day.  She’s a lucky cat too … she gets her own Christmas Tree and Christmas Cracker.  It’s just a shame she doesn’t seem happier.  I have heard that some cats are more highly-strung (oops, what a bad choice of words!) than others – but I don’t think this is what it is with Mimi … she just looks so worried!  It might have been because her mother (my Aunty M) was off to have something done at the Hospital … it turned out to be nothing really but I can understand how Mimi would have been worried about her.

I have a new friend.  Who knew the Mummies would bring a dog into the house … but they have.  And he seems nice enough.  His name is Tagus (like Haggis but with a T and spelled differently).  He seems to like being here too … but I am going to have to have a word with the Mummies about all these other folk they are bringing into the house … like More…eese. There won’t be enough room for me on the table or the couch or anywhere if they keep going at this rate.

I have been – and always shall be – your friend Mummy Sooz.
This is me replaying a Star Trek moment with the Mummy.
