Et tu Brutus?

Apparently I am “a brute”! And just because I had a tiny little chew on the Stress Sumo. They (that would be Sooz and Kaz) know I don’t have hands so I can’t use it like normal people do. And I really didn’t think they would find it – not so quickly anyway. I hope this doesn’t mean Kaz is going to start sifting through my litter tray looking for evidence. As if it would have been anyone else – or could have been!I have been doing my best to keep Kaz and Sooz on their toes … especially when they’re not paying me (enough) attention-like when they’re doing the SMH quiz or the crossword. And Kaz certainly gives me a cross word (or two) when I hug her leg (really tightly) and give her a little smooch on the knee or calf. Just because I use my teeth sometimes she gets upset. Do you know she thinks she has to shake me off … well, that may be true – but it’s not like I would actually hurt her … and yes I have bitten Sooz on the bottom on occasion but that was an accident – more or less. They went out and left me locked in the laundry on Monday – not cool. But at least they left me with some of my stuff … including Pinkie.  I think Kaz has only just realised how much Pinkie means to me … and it any took me having to take him through to give him some crunchies. So Kaz has it now … Pinkie is not a toy … he is my friend …who l have to carry around … because he is lazy … oh, wait, no … it’s because he’s legless … no wait, that’s not right either – it’s because he has no legs. Poor Pinkie. Lucky he’s got me.

Stressed Sumo

Media star in the wings

They really do need to take a photo … it will last longer!  Oh, but wait they do that … all the time … and I do mean ALL the time!. Every time I look around they have a camera in my face … when I’m making the bed, when I’m in my bed, when I’m on my Tower.  Trust me … there is no respite.  Just as well I don’t mind having my photograph taken and being plastered all over the internet!  If only Kaz and Sooz could make me into an internet sensation like that Grumpy Cat.  I heard he is no longer with us so that means there might be an opening for a new “star” … that would be me!

High on the tower …

I just love the cat tower Kaz and Sooz bought me – so much. Note to them: I am not such a big fan of the little bear who, when pressed, keeps telling me “I love you so much!”. I

‘m not going to send him away though – it’s fun to take him up to the turret at the top of the tower – and drop him back to the ground. He doesn’t bounce, but he seems to be okay with it.

I helped Kaz build the tower – even though she did not seem to truly appreciate my assistance. Yes, it was very late on the Sunday evening and she’d had a big weekend (she’d been to Toowoomba to see her family) and she really wanted to get it done since Dzambo had taken his home with him … so it was understandable she was a little tetchy … and resistant to a helping paw or two! But she got it done and it is a thing of beauty. I didn’t start using it all at once … they kept watching me to see what I would do, so I drew it out as much as I could … the turret, the basket … and then the hammock. I have been in the cubby hole … only the once though and that was such a buzz for Kaz that I will wait a while before I do it again … so she has something to look forward to!

Lonely … lonely … lonely

I can’t believe they let Dzambo go home – and just after Istarted liking him and all. I admit I didnt like having him here at first – he was intruding on my territory after all – even though technically he was here first – or so Kaz and Sooz say. He stayed here last October when he was just a kitten and his mother was in India. That explains some of the toys I’ve found around the house … like the mouse and the feathers – I figured they weren’t Sooz and Kaz’s. But that’s not what’s important right now … what is is the other cool stuff he brought with him. The best was his cat tower – which arrived the day before he did – so I had a heap of time to play on it before he got here. I’m glad Sooz and Kaz noticed because they decided they needed to get me one – and it arrived on Friday – and then I helped Kaz assemble it on Sunday night. It took us forever! At least my bestie Dzambo didn’t have to see that! He’d already been sent home on Saturday- and they didn’t even check with me if it was okay! I know it looked as though I was pestering him (and maybe I was) but it was good to have someone else to rub noses with and play with … yes there were growls and snarls and some claws and maybe a scratch or two – but it was all good fun – and after those first few days he wasn’t spending all his time under the couch. And who knew it would be so comfy under there: I’ve been spending a bit of time under there since he left – and yes, I do fit … and I fit in the hammock on the cat tree too!
