Mmmmmm …. creamy treats that fit on a teaspoon – and definitely don’t fill a growing cat up M Kaz  What were you thinking?  But at least the wet cat food has made another appearance so she is getting something right.   No, it’s not Applaws but it isn’t silly Whiskas or Dine so I can (read: will) eat it.

I can tell M Kaz is back ‘at work’ because she’s started locking me out of our office again.  I’ve told her I won’t lie on the transcription foot pedal or sit on the keyboard of the computer while she’s trying to work but for some unknown reason, she doesn’t believe me.   Mind you, it doesn’t sound as though things are going well in there – with or without me. I know she thinks M Sooz and I can’t hear her cussing when she loses work off the computer when it crashes (did someone say ‘black screen of death’?) – and it does seem to be doing it a lot.  That being said, she’s more patient than she usually is when she’s having computer issues so maybe she’s mellowed in her old age – and no, I’m not allowed to say how old she is going to be this year, so don’t even think about asking me!

It’s still quite warm here at Jannie – but not nearly as warm as it was last week.  The Mummies have the AC on most days at the moment though and it does leave the house at a nice temperature – for them.  I’m not really a fan and have been spending a lot of time in on my iron board with the clothes that M Kaz still hasn’t managed to get out of the house.  I know she means well but she does drag her feet a bit sometimes.  I think if Aunty Wendy had come down last weekend as we’d all hoped she would, the clothes would have magically disappeared before she arrived, but, alas, she had to cancel.

I keep checking outside for any sign of Cecil or other friends but I haven’t seen any of them for a while now.  There are a few birds about but they don’t seem to want to be that friendly – not like the one that was playing with Mimi the other day – keeping safe in her mouth while they were playing.  I don’t think Aunty M thought that was a good idea but by the end of their play, the litte bird had re-joined its parent on the balcony.  I wish I could play with birds too.  I wonder if Mimi would mind if I came to live with her for a bit?

I’m still not sure when Uncle Wayne is coming to visit.  I’m expecting him to visit two times – once to see me, and the other time to look after me while those Mummies are away in Sydney and seeing ‘silo art’ – and collecting Easter Eggs along the way for me!

And speaking of eggs – who knew I don’t like them?  M Kaz cooked some scrambled eggs with toast for her breakfast this morning (yes – you read that right – ‘M Kaz cooked’!) and when she offered me some – I refused.  They were a lovely yellow though – which M Kaz said was because they were freshly laid at the place where Aunty Roz is currently staying.  The Mummies are hoping for some more when they see her next – not me though.
