I did miss those Mummies on Saturday night but it did mean I had my choice of beds! They were in Toowoomba seeing Uncle Wayne (before he goes off to volunteer at the Gympie Muster) and Aunty Wendy and the rest of the family. They had a good time although they always come back exhausted. I’m not sure what they get up to while they’re there but you can rest assured that whenever they get home, M Kaz goes down for a nap as soon as she’s said hello to me and checked my tray and food bowls.

I had thought Aunty M might come over to see me while the Mummies were away but they had warned me that might not happen because Aunty M has so many responsibilities these days – and because the Mummies had told Aunty M I would be fine by myself overnight (and they would be watching me via the cameras) so Iwould be able to manage. And I did – and well – but it’s not about ‘managing’ Mummies, it’s about having her company – – – and don’t you dare censor me M Kaz – just because you’re doing the transcribing. (I’ll try to sneak something in later when she goes to sleep … but just for the moment we’ll let her have her way.)
I did sleep on the end of M Kaz’s bed for part of last night but tonight I am sleeping on M Sooz’s recliner. Nothing could be finer …
