Those Mummies did go to Toowoomba on the weekend and they seemed to have a good time without me. I’m willing to bet they didn’t even think about me here, home, all alone, by myself, running around, searching for them high and low – until Aunty M came to see me. I did my best to look as though I was hungry – starving – and hadn’t eaten since the Mummies had left. It worked because Aunty M sent the Mummies a message with a picture of me looking almost positively gaunt. It wasn’t easy.

The Mummies arrived home on Sunday afternoon and almost immediately went into their room and had “nana naps”, and then (finally) routine prevailed and they sat down to watch an episode of “Midsomer Murders”. I wanted to tell them what was going to happen – but M Sooz prefers it to be a surprise. I really don’t see how it can be since they’re up to about the gazillionth time through them.

M Kaz’s sister gave both the Mummies birthday presents while they were in Toowoomba. M Sooz’s was L’Occitane products plus a girl bag for putting her toiletries in for their upcoming trip. M Kaz got Bob – her “one in a minion’ blankie, and I would suggest that she may be planning to take Bob with her wherever she goes from now on – here or abroad.

Also coming back from Toowoomba with them is “the hat” which is currently with bear but which M Kaz may use when they are in colder climes.
