Friday (30 Aug 24)

Aunty M came around this afternoon so M Kaz could help her set up her new phone. It took a little while. but that was M Kaz’s fault because she hit the back button in the middle of the download of something called a system update – and it had to start over again. But in the end it was all done except for the downloading of all the apps that Aunty M had on he.r old phone which had transferred over to the new phone – like magic.
To thank the Mummies, Aunty M shouted them dinner – and she gave me some chippies too. I only ever want a taste of things – and that was enough tonight – I didn’t even want any chicken.

Sunday
Where have the last couple of days disappeared to? It’s Sunday evening already and those Mummies have settled in to water another episode of Midsomer Murders. I like to call it Nigey-Mummy-Together-Time. I snuggle up against M Kaz’s foot and then, after she’s patted me a bit, I reciprocate by giving her feet a bit of … affection. I think she has another name for it. I think she calls it Nigey-Mummy- Bitey-Time. Heh heh. I might call it that too. It seems fitting.
While they watched Inspector Barnaby, I went on the hunt for dinosaurs (or cracodiles as M Sooz calls them) and found one. What was it those Mummies said as I tried to play with it: Nigey doesn’t understand how glass works. Well, I think I do. Glass means that the dinosaur is outside and I’m not, even though I can see them and almost touch them, I can not. I’m not sure the dinosaur even knew I was there. I looked out the other window later but I couldn’t see where it’d gone.

Hmmm … glass
