Ever since she’s watched that movie with the alien invasion, M Kaz has been calling me Frodo. I think it’s a compliment. Frodo is a service cat for a woman who is supposedly one of the key characters – but M Kaz swears the key character is actually Frodo! It’s Frodo who is able to sense when the aliens are near and is able to let everyone know they should be quiet as the aliens are attracted to noise. It’s unclear whether the aliens attack and eat folk who make noise (let’s call them prey) or just want them to stop making noise. When the movie is out longer, hopefully more details of what the aliens do and want will come to light. In the interim, those Mothers are going to keep singing Frodo’s praises – I just know it. I bet they don’t even realise that TWO cats played the part of Frodo.
