Let’s see if they go through with it – the “it” would be locking me out of the bedroom at night so I don’t try to wake M Kaz so she will come play or feed me in the wee small hours of the morning or so I don’t sleep on top of M Sooz and, in her words, “wreck my hip”.  There’s just no pleasing those two sometimes.  I don’t really think it will happen though – and if it does you can be sure that I will be the one scratching on the bedroom door until they let me in.  And if that doesn’t work, I’ll just have to find other ways of getting them to open the door – if they go through with it.

M Kaz really is a weakling.  I’ve just watch her trying to lift the door that Uncle Wayne replaced on the garage – and she could hardly do it.  She ended up lifting one end and dragging it along the grass.  Yes, I watched her try to drag it on its side first off but it kept getting snagged on the grass when she did.  At least she thought of a way of getting it done.  I don’t know how she thinks she’s going to be able to manage lifting and moving things while she and M Sooz are overseas later in the year.  (Yes, you Mothers, I do know about that!)  I know she is practicing with my 10kg bags of cat litter – and the box with two bags of litter in it – but I’m not sure that’s going to be enough.  Ah well, both the Mummies are a bit older so there might be folk who offer to help them – and not just so they can scam them out of money although there will probably be people trying to do that too!

It rained really heavily this evening and there was thunder and lightning too.  Luckily there was no hail otherwise M Kaz would have been going out to check on Ravi – and I do mean just checking because before they had the shade sail installed she would have been out there throwing herself over the car to protect it – but there’s no need for that now, and certainly not this evening.

I had a friend come in to play with me today – a dinosaur which M Sooz found under the scales when she came in to see what I was staring intently at in the corner of her bathroom. I wonder if she thought it was a Cecil – I think she did because I think that’s what she was saying to Aunty M when she cane around this afternoon.  There was some suggestion that they wouldn’t but they did end up watching another couple of episodes of “Derry Girls”.  After Aunty M went home of course the Mummies watched more Inspector Barnaby.
