Aunty M came to visit this afternoon and she had something for M Sooz with her – I’m not quite sure what to call it. Is it a toy? A memento? A furry?  You decide because I really can’t.  His name is Hugo and he’s the Myer 2022 bear – or do those antlers mean he’s a reindeer?  So many questions!

M Kaz has started researching frozen ice drinks / smoothies / bowls – a sensible thing to do now that the ice blending machine has pride of place on the kitchen bench.  But while it may be useful for around Jannie, the real reason for the research is that M Kaz has volunteered to do the non-alcholic ice-drinks at Syl & An’s Christmas Eve catch-up.  M Kaz has already decided on one of what she hopes will be only three on the menu – that way she can contain the number of ingredients she’ll need.  She’s thinking the main one will be ice but chances are she may also want to stock up on some frozen fruit juicey thingeys.  (And where is my favourite stringey thingey?  I think it may still be at Aunty Rosemary’s where M Kaz left it the last time I stayed there!)

The Mummies must have enjoyed the Black Friday Sales – given they bought a couple of things. One of them was an ice maker, another thing was a blender for crushing ice, and a couple of sets of earbuds. I think they are very happy with their purchases and M Kaz has spent the afternoon playing with the ice blender and setting up her ear buds. She will set up M Sooz’s this evening … and then, if Aunty M needs help, M Kaz will be able to lend a hand in the morning.

While M Kaz was working on setting the things up, I was busy too. M Kaz had moved my cat tree out on to my deck and I was busy trying out all the levels again and watching everything that was happening outside – mainly birds as it turns out. There are lots of them that sit on the fence, or just outside the screen door talking to me and asking me to come out and play with them. M Kaz doesn’t let me though. I think she knows it may not end well … for them!

Well, that’s done now too. M Sooz’s ear buds are set up and M Kaz is looking forward to showing her how to use them. It’s odd, said M Kaz, that the phone app to use with them is different for the iPhone and the Samsung phone. Hmmmm.
