Kermie’s back! Kermie’s back. I was talking to him through the window this evening and he doesn’t seem any the worse for wear. I wonder where he goes to when he’s not hanging around out the front. Not sure where Lennie has gone to though… we haven’t seen him for a couple of days now. Rain … rain … come back and bring Lennie with you! Speaking of rain, we have had clear blue skies for most of the last three days. It has been a nice change. I’m hoping it stays dry because that means the kitty litter M Kaz dropped on the front stoop will dry out enough for her to scoop up and put in the rubbish. I hope it’s soon because it looks like someone had a different kind of accident out there and every time I look out there I feel a little bit off-colour.

It was very exciting yesterday. The Mummies went out to lunch to help Aunty M celebrate her birthday. They let me help with the birthday card – and that was good – I like feeling helpful. And then M Kaz let me help with the present wrapping – it’s not easy working with fur and sticky tape… and don’t even get me started on the fun we had with the scissors! (Since there’s an exclamation point there, you should be able to tell that it wasn’t really fun!) But is was all worth it. Aunty M had a good day on her birthday.

We are waiting for Norm (the yard man) to come to do the yard so I can go out again. At the moment it looks as though it’s up to my shoulder blades – and the weeds are even taller. Yep, better I don’t go out there and get lost.
