Friday

M Kaz is home again (finally) and it’s good to have her back here to feed me and to play stringey thing with me and to clear out my litter tray.  Yes, of course M Sooz does all that for me while M Kaz is away (and she has been away a little bit lately) but I don’t like to put her to any trouble.
I’ve been spending lots of time in with the sloths.  They’re pretty good company – especially  the rainbow one who keeps jumping down on the floor to be with me. It seems to be making its way closer to the door each time – I wonder if it’s actually trying to make a break for it.
I don’t know why I can’t have a snake … the next door’s had one in with them the other night.  That probably means the things I see moving out in the yard could be snakes … I’d hoped they were … it’s good to have something to show the Mummies – especially since M Sooz is always watching them in the bedroom – on her tablet that is … we don’t really have snakes inside here – even though I really, really want one. M Kaz did see one outside the kitchen window a while back. I don’t know who got the bigger shock – her or the snake … because both of them took off as soon as they saw each other.

On the outside …

“If you’re going to throw up, can you please throw up outside?” That’s what M Kaz said to me as I was out chewing grass in the yard this morning.  Gosh … I can’t tell you how long it’s been since we’ve been outside, but it has been a considerable while since I’ve had that hot, horrible, hairy harness on.  I think we were both surprised at how little effort it took to get me into it!
It was lovely outside, yes, a little windy and that did scare me a little bit but I had M Kaz with me and she told me there was nothing to be concerned about.  She directed me to the lemon tree to show me how they had put it in the corner of the yard so it wouldn’t blow over in the wind.  It’s a lovely lemon tree.

Another … present

Yes … if I pick my plate absolutely clean Mummies that means I loved the food and I would like some more of that Applaws please. You know I like it… love it.  I don’t know why you even bother to try to give me other food – even if I have liked it in the past and you have tins and tins of it in the cupboard.  You can give them to someone else … like Mimi.  She’d love them.  Mmmm.  Yes, I’m  sure she would.  Let’s give them to Aunty M next time we see them.

Present …

M Sooz has bought us a shared present.  It would be okay if it were just the two of us sharing it but apparently Piney (the pineapple – where do they come up with these names?) has to share it too!  It’s actually fine though because there’s plenty of room for both of us!
