Friday

M Kaz really needs to get a bigger desk.  It is hard to fit her, the computer and me on to Ollie Tedesco.  I do what I can, but it gets awfully cramped, especially when M Kaz is trying to type.  It will be better when she gets the new typewriter from Lego.  Of course, she has to find out whether it actually works first … or if it’s just for show – after she’s put the 2,000+ pieces together.

Hmmmm … she does have a birthday coming up so we will have to see what M Sooz makes of all of this.  Of course, there’s also the Titanic Lego as well – coming in at over 9,000 pieces – boy that would keep them all busy for a good long while… especially if they invited friends over to help!

And we shall call him Lennie …

It continues to rain here and it’s a bit like a wildlife habitat out the front.  Not only do we have our own Lennie now – just a bit smaller than the next-door’s Lennie – but we also have a gigantic Kermit (a toad not a frog though).  I think M Kaz was a bit afraid to go out there with him this evening – certainly she ran past Kermie as she went to the freezer in the shed to rescue their dinners (yes, yes, M Kaz says she is going to clear out the “house freezer”) and she kept a close eye on him as she righted the lemon tree, which had fallen over a little bit again.  She was going to put it back in its big pot but she couldn’t because that’s where Lennie’s living.  I can’t wait until I can go outside and play with them.

In the meantime, I am keeping M Kaz company in the office – I have my own spot in the shelf – on the bottom, out of sight behind the ironing board.  It’s one of my favourite spots at the moment, if you don’t count my hidey hole between the couch and the wall in the sloth lounge, or on the cat tower, or under the bed, or with the Eiffel Tower or … wow, I really do have lots of places where I hang out!

Keeping a close eye on Kermie for M Kaz!
