Thursday …

It is so hot!  I keep looking for nice cool places to be – without being directly in front of the fan because we all know that just ruins my hairstyle – and I spend so much time grooming to get it “just right”.  Mummy Kaz is a bit worried about me because I am what she calls “low key” and part of me thinks I have to have her stop thinking like that or before you know it I’ll be popped into my carry cage and she’ll have me off at the V-E-T. (It’s okay … Kaz can’t spell as well as me – although she may be a tad better at grammar!)

Because it’s been a bit hot, the Mummies haven’t been out and about a lot – although I suspect that might have something to do with the surge in CoVid 2019 (has it been around that long!) cases on the Gold Coast at the moment.  It’s good to have them safe at home … it would be even better if Kaz would stop taking photographs of me.  What was that that Aunty M told Mummy Sooz this morning – that I must one of the most-photographed cats around.  That’s probably true – especially as we know that Kaz doesn’t post ALL the photographs she takes of me on the interweb.

It was fun watching Kaz mowing the lawn yesterday.  I don’t know why she doesn’t take a moment to pull the weeds out of the Colorbond fence though … not that she’s the only one who leaves them there – Norm the yardman was here last week and he didn’t do anything with them either.  Okay Kaz … let’s you and me do it … just put me on the lead and let’s go out and we’ll take them down, take them out (yes, we were watching Independence Day earlier this week) together.

Did I say that Aunty M was here earlier today?  It was good to see her … and I almost cheered when Kaz gave her the rest of those (double-bagged to seal in the “freshness”) Hoakey Hokey Hoki Fish Cubes to give to Pip the dog (who does eat them – but hopefully doesn’t kiss or lick anyone afterwards … we’ve all heard of dog breath but you’d have to think Fish Cube breath would be so much worse!).
