I don’t think it could have been any noisier today. When I heard Sooz was in possible danger, I raced up to the bedroom to check and yes there was a man outside the window (read: glass doors). I wasn’t sure what he was doing but I was determined to keep her safe if he stepped off the grass and onto the deck. Kaz didn’t seem that concerned – she just kept talking to Son but I did notice she closed the window so it wouldn’t be quite as noisy. Ahhh … finally I realised what was happening … it was Mark out there and he was here to do the lawns. Would it be too difficult to just tell me so I wasn’t worried?

Son smelled … a lot. That’s not a bad thing … there was a whiff of water dragon, dog, possum, koala and possibly bat. She and Mark are part-time wildlife folk and this morning they’d been out at some place called Jimboomba helping another wildlife person with the 16 rescue koalas she currently has in her care. They could have brought me one to play with! But Son did let me play in her bag which was nice of her. After they left us, they were going to Wet And Wild where they were going to release a Waterdragon that had almost drowned on a slide there and probably would have had the person who found it not given it mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and CPR.

Otherwise it has been business as usual here – stringey-thing … electric blanket … Tibet … more photos.
